What more can I do for my gay friend?

Have you told him how all of this makes you and the others feel? If he's not communicating with you it's probably because he doesn't understand just how much it worries you. Sometimes the best thing you can do is let a friend know that you're there when they're ready to talk and they don't need to tell you if they don't want to. A lot of times when you tell them that and then take a step back, still there but not right in their face, they'll tell you whats bothering them. Just remember that gay men are (or at least all of the ones I have met are) incredibly emotionally sensitive.
