Is it normal to take about 2 hours to wake up after half an hour long c-section?

The anesthesiologists used an intravenous general anesthetic,because an epidural wasn't enough and i started to panic as my gynecologist told me later.After that i didn't remember anything,when i woke up the nurses were talking to me and it took me about 15 minutes to respond before they take me to regular room.Then my husband told me that my baby came out after half an hour since the beginning of the surgery,and i stayed about 2 hours in there after.Still don't know why it took so long to wake up.
