I need to know what to do . Serious answers only .?

I'll try to make this as short as possible . Me and this guy have been dating off and on for 3 years, and Im ready to be in a committed relationship . But, it gets complicated. The first time we tried this thing we both cheated. Me first . Don't care to get into the details right now . We've both went over what the issues was and we were able to get over it .He shows signs that he still interested but now but because of our past Im ready to settle down. But my question is this. How can I make him want me as more than just a friend with benefits? How can I make him have a monogamous relationship with just me ? Is there any way that after you've cheated that the feelings can be regained, if so how does this process start ?
