I have developed a lisp after having my braces removed a week ago. Will it stay this way?

Congrats on getting your braces off!!! I had braces a couple years ago (and are about to get them again because one of my teeth needs to be pulled down so it will come in) i never had a lisp when i got my braces taken off, i don't think it will stay but i would try practicing saying words with s's like "Six" (like you mentioned) and see if it gets any better if not i would ask your orthodontist why you have a lisp.
