Vaginal Tearing Symptoms?

My husband and I were having sex approximately 2-3 days ago and it got a little rough. We stopped in the middle because he was hurting me so badly. Well, ever since then my vagina has been itching, and just have a lot of discomfort down there. I don't have any reason to believe he has cheated on my so I don't think it's an STD, I do believe that it's vaginal tearing but everything that i've read suggests that you have to have visible cuts and bleeding. So, I did a self exam and found nothing. Everything looks fine. But the itching is crazy. I'm on a very small Army base in Germany so to see a Gynecologist about it would take close to a week. I just thought maybe someone would have a good suggestion as to what's going on and/or help me with what to do about it.
