Information about poochons please ? :)?

Getting a poochon in a couple of weeks, he will be 8 weeks when i'm able to take him home. Any tips and tricks what to do to help him settle in, what they like, what they dont like. I'm 14, and he will be for my birthday, and I am going to take superb care of my little pooch! So i want to know how i can care for him best ! thanks :)
