My PAP test last year result was abnormal, 4 weeks ago it was normal. Does it have anything to do with HPV?

My family doctor and my Gynecologist told me that it is considered positive for cancer but in a very small range and the abnormality may become normal again. Four weeks ago, my PAP test's result returned to normal and my Gyne assured me that I have nothing to worry anymore. I made some googling on abnormal PAP test result and what i've found out got me freaking out. It says that the abnormality may be a result of HPV and genital warts. Does it mean that I am positve of HPV? My sex life isn't very active but I have been sleeping occasionally with my boyfriend unprotected between my June 2010 PAP test and my recent PAP test last May. I have broke-up with my boyfriend, I am feeling very guilty and now I am determined not to have any sexual relationships at all with the fear that I am spreading a disease and I have committed a serious crime.
