Is Monistat 7 supposed to burn like crazy?

Hello there! I'm 15, not sexually active and i think i have a yeast infection. I told my mom and she got me Monistat 7. I used it 30 minutes ago and I couldn't take it. I applied the inner cream almost died. It started burning and itching inside! I put the external cream on after as directed... I waited 10 minutes and then ran to the shower. It stopped burning afterward. After i went back to my room and used the cooling wipes and external cream again... It's burning. I haven't gone to a gynecologist ever. I don't feel comfortable with someone looking at it. Also i have my period right now. I don't know if that could be the cause. I am also taking amoxicillin because i had a bad cold. I would be so happy if someone could help me. It's getting worse and worse by the second.
