Do i have herpes simplex 2 virus?

I have the herpes simplex virus one meaning i get cold sores in my mouth. I had blood work done recently at the gynecologist office and i was called in concerning the blood work. The lady who called to make an appointment said not to worry about it that most people have it so it must be concerning the herpes simplex virus 1. However, around 6 months ago it started burning when i peed but it went away. I've been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years and we have had sex for a long time and he has never felt a burning sensation when he pees or had mouth or genital sores. is it possible that i could have the herpes 2 simplex virus even though I don't have any genital sores?
