What are the reasons for middle east instability?

Greed, warlords, weapons trafficking, drug trafficking, Pakistan playing both sides, the deceased Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeni still running Iran with Muslim clerics, Ahmadinejad, the Hezbollah being a political party in Lebanon even though it's categorized as a terrorist group by most of NATO, archaic laws, trust in the US military (they were helping the Afghani's with their sanitation and plumbing for a while but then it all stopped) lack of compromise between Israel and the Palestinians, not allowing Israel to get rid of Yassar Arafat years ago when Clinton was in office, Gaza strip is basically a breeding ground for terrorists, indoctrination of Palestinian youth against all things of the West, the US trying to impose Christianity on Muslim countries, the US trying to impose democracy on Muslim countries (the older generations want neither, the younger generations might but are kept under the thumb of the elders) differences in tribes, differences in ideology, dependency on foreign aid, general ignorance from lack of education, lack of resources, lack of access to the resources they have, lack of money to those who need it (women/children for schools, education, sanitation) generational gaps, foreign weapons falling into insurgent groups, lack of trust from foreign leaders, questionable foreign policies and tactics (think Libya and NATO's inability to get Qaddafi) etc.etc.etc.
